This can cause problems when you try to install VBox guest additions. Anyway, it could happen that you have different versions of some files which form the kernel. I'm not a programmer, so forgive me if I'm not as precise as I should be. This piece of software will bring us some really nice features, such as mouse integration and dynamic resizing of the window. Our goal is to install VBox guest additions. I hope not to violate any rule of this forum. As I eventually managed to get them to work, I thought it would be nice if I wrote kind of a guide here, describing all I've done in order to make them work properly. Even if the installation process was smooth, I had serious troubles in installing VBox guest additions in openSUSE with KDE. I installed openSUSE 11.1 (I've chosen KDE as graphic environment) on a virtual machine, using VirtualBox on a Windows Xp SP3 host machine. I'm new here, and I'm also a newbie as far as the vast Linux world is concerned.
